Soft Rope Halter
Our ¼” rope halters are a must have for all horse owners and trainers. These halters are made with our soft double braid polyester rope, a true Fidor knot and have no hardware to break. These halters are strong yet soft and small enough to leave under your bridle, stuff in your pocket or pack in your saddle bag. We can also make them with 4 knots on the nose band (except for the foal and weanling size).
All of our products are tied and spliced in the USA from rope that is manufactured in the USA as well. We take pride in knowing that we use the best type of rope for equestrian use. We use 100% double braid polyester rope which is also what all the top trainers and clinicians use. Please see "About Our Rope" page for more details about our quality polyester rope.

Weanling rope halter
I could find nylon foal and weanling halters in the local feed store... but not rope halters... but "Big Sky Tack" hooked me up... I didnt get the foal size because I thought my baby would outgrow it pretty quick so I sized up to weanling... but they are such good quality and reasonably priced... I am SERIOUSLY rethinking that....lol... (\/)

I own 4 of these halters. I brag about them because they’re exactly what I need. I love the rope quality. I also appreciate how the ropes attach together at the tie end instead of having a big, bulky metal piece. I won’t buy rope halters anywhere else!

Arrived promptly, and as described. We chose a smaller size for the standard donkey we are working with. She’s dark brown and the orange looks BRIGHT and happy! She’s had BAD experiences with halters in her past, so we’re going slow, and learning that halter in will lead to good things... like going for walks, trimming feet, getting in the trailer, etc...
